The Anointing of the Sick Mass
will be celebrated
SATURDAY, September 4, 2010
at the 8:30 am Mass in the CHURCH.
The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a
sacrament of healing. It is for all those who seek to be healed
physically, emotionally or spiritually.

Seminarian Brandon O’Brien,
who will join us on Tuesday, September 7th
Brandon will be completing his Pastoral Year at St. Mary.
Brandon is originally from Sacred Heart Parish in
North Merrick and will be ordained a Deacon in two years.

THE SHAWL MINISTRY

Each shawl, baby hat, or blanket is made with special prayers before given to

beyond conversation with Christ to communion with Christ.The source of this prayer is the indwelling Presence of God.
The focus of Centering Prayer is the deepening of our relationship with the
living Christ. It tends to build communities of faith and bond the members
together in mutual friendship and love.
