MARCH 27 THRU APRIL 2, 2011

What is the Week of Directed Prayer?

This week will provide you with the opportunity of making a directed retreat in the midst of your daily living.  It is a simple structure that can easily be incorporated into your day-to-day busy schedule.  And it works!

All you need to do is set aside a half-hour each day for a prayer period on scripture and then another half-hour each day to receive private spiritual direction.

You can do your prayer exercise at home, here at St. Mary’s or whatever setting you wish and then come to St. Mary’s for spiritual direction.  We are very flexible and will schedule your direction morning, afternoon or evening, Monday through Friday.

There will be a group prayer and gathering for all the participants and directors on the first day, Sunday, March 27th from 1:30-3:30pm in the Rectory Chapel and again on the last day, Saturday,
April 2nd from 9:30-11:30am (also in the Rectory Chapel).

Do I have enough experience?

The answer is simple: YES!  Beginning and experienced pray-ers are welcome and can draw much fruit from this week.  Even if you are in spiritual direction you will benefit from this week!
