St. Mary’s Memorial
Opportunities for Giving
Our Parish Community
In 1898 a few local Catholics
bought the present Sacred Heart Hall at auction for $510 to serve a faith
community of 150 parishioners of Irish, German, English, Czech, Italian, Slavic,
and French descent. Who would have thought they were establishing the parish
community of St. Mary’s that we treasure today. A community serving over 6,300
families through liturgy, the sacraments, parish social ministry, and over 70 diverse
ministries, events, and programs.
Intentions

Mary’s Memorial Opportunities for Giving has been established to

welcoming community which proclaims through word and action the dignity of
every person.” | |
| St.
Mary’s Memorial Opportunities for Giving will ascertain that our
building and grounds where we gather as community will be preserved and
enjoyed by future generations. |
